Re: sp 125 plus and aluminum. FYI I use a regular push gun on aluminum. I am taking a lunch break and going out to weld more of it. A teflon liner is a must. Use 5356 wire 4043 is to soft trust me I have a roll in mine right now. The cable must be kept as strait as posible and dont twist it.It works fine with my Lincoln Innershield flux-core 0.035" diameter wire on my Lincoln SP-125 Plus welder with the standard Magnum 100L gun. Plenty of extra length--easy to cut-to-length with side cutters. I have a millermatic 150 that I bought used a few years ago. It has been an amazing welder. I was welding the other day and in the middle of a bead, it stopped welding.
