I guess my question is, would the Sony STR-DH790 be able to sufficiently power the 5.1.2 setup as I have it currently and is the S 809 overkill for this kind of setup being focused on movie viewing. 2 x S 809 Tower Speakers. 2 x S 801 Speakers for Surround Sound. 1 x S 83 CEN Center Channel Speaker. 1 x C 910 Subwoofer. 2 x S 8ATM Atmos Modules. . I have a Sony multi channel av receiver STR DH790 which I don’t think has HDMI 2.1 ports.The dynamic volume and dynamic EQ sucks. The Sony was so much easier to make sound more pleasing immediately. The Denon room correction was very slow to respond to commands when setting up and then the end result sounded worse than the Sony set up manually. 4K@60Hz is enough for me.
