Start with the drive roll pressure very loose. Increase the pressure only until it is very difficult to stop the wire from feeding out of the contact tip. Use a pliers or block of wood to try and stop the wire from feeding. Go perhaps one-half of a turn beyond this point.You need to blow out your cable liner, while your doing this make sure your contact tip is clean and unobstructed. Also make sure that your drive roll tension is not to much, enough to move the wire but not enough to push it when you have the wire held at the gun.Cleanliness in a wirefeed insures problem free usability.
